Each barangay can send at least 5 teams with 8 players composed of 5 main players and 3 substitute players.
Krizzy Daugdaug, CTOO’s e-Sports Consultant, said during the I-Speak Media Forum that interested participants must submit a copy of their PSA, valid ID, and Barangay Certificate mentioning that they have been residents of the barangay they are representing for at least three months before the tournament.
Eligible players must also be 15 years old and above. For players below 18, a parent’s consent must be furnished.
Daugdaug also said that more than just an event staged for tourism purposes, the tournament also intends to promote health awareness and responsible gaming to E-Sports athletes in the city.
