The City Government of Davao on Thursday, February 6, 2025, turned-over nine mobile patrol units and four motorcycles to the Davao City Police Office.

The blessing of the vehicles was led by Rev. Fr. Bong Gonzaga. He was joined by DCPO officials and staff from the City Government of Davao.

DCPO Deputy City Director Lt. Col Jed Clamor told reporters that the vehicles will beef up their existing units in maintaining peace and order in the city.

“This is another addition to our mobility diri sa Davao City Police Police Office na makatabang sa atong pag patrolya, pag responde and in general service to the Dabawenyos. Dako kaayong salamat sa LGU of Davao City sa kanunay na pagsuporta sa atoang mga panginahahanglan, especially sa atong logistics, especially sa atong mobility (This is an addition to the mobility of the Davao City Police Office that could be a huge help in our patrols, for response, and in the general service to the Dabawenyos. A huge thanks to the LGU of Davao City for the continued support in our needs, especially in our logistics, especially our mobility),” he said.

Clamor said that five of the patrol cars will be used by the city patrol unit, three for the City Mobile Force Company, and one for the tourist police. The motorcycles will also be used by the CMFC.

He said that the DCPO promises to use the vehicles properly.

On December 27, 2024, the City Government also turned over vehicles to the Davao City Police, including five units of Disaster Truck, four 4×4 vehicles and four fiber boats. CIO
