The Davao City Traffic and Transportation Management Office (CTTMO) has warned the public against patronizing a fake CTTMO Facebook page.

CTTMO chief Dionisio Abude said he recently discovered the fake CTTMO Facebook page which drew quite a number of people, believing it was a legitimate CTTMO social media page.

He also called on people who created said Facebook page to immediately deactivate the account.

“This is not good since people will get confused. They might send their concerns to that fake Facebook account but it will never reach our office and we can never undertake actions,” Abude said.

He said that most of the traffic advisories are posted on the official Facebook page of CTTMO with this link

“We humbly ask those who created spurious Facebook pages of the different offices of the city government, not only of CTTMO, to please stop and delete those accounts to avoid confusion and also to help the city government in spreading the right information to the public,” Abude said. CIO
