The final leg for the Duaw Davao Inter-barangay Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB) Competition, which was organized by the Davao Esports Enthusiast Association (DEEA) and the City Tourism Operations Office, is set on June 30, 2024, at Almendras Gym.
DEEA spokesperson Krizzy Daugdaug said during the I-Speak Media forum on Thursday that preparations are already in place for the final round of the competition.
“Sixty-four teams, roughly 500 players mag-abot sa June 30 (Sixty-four teams, roughly 500 players will compete on June 30),” Daugdaug said.
She said that the 64 teams are the remaining participants from the initial 120 participating teams.
“Ubay-ubay ang nangapil sa tournament, grabe kahigpit guidelines kay exclusive to Dabawenyos ang event (Many players joined the tournament, we have strict guidelines because the tournament is for Davao City residents only),” she said.
Daugdaug said that the participants in the tournament are 15 years old and above.
They made sure that the minors who will join the participant will have their parent’s consent.
The final event will start at 9 am onwards on June 30, 2024. CIO
