The Pista sa San Pedro: Paghiusayaw Unity through Dance, another event tied to the Duaw Davao, will take place on June 29, 2024, on San Pedro Street.

Event Organizer Harold Quibete said during the I-Speak media forum on Thursday that the event falls on the same day as the 176th Parochial Anniversary of the San Pedro Church.

“The six different zones of San Pedro parish are celebrating their 176th parochial celebration and then we gave them a platform para mapasundayag ni sa tanan. This is a non-sectarian presentation. Dili lang gyud siya para sa Katoliko, para ni siya sa tanan and they are bringing us on a short trip around the world (The six different zones of San Pedro Parish are celebrating their 176th parochial celebration and we gave them the platform for the showcase. This is a non-sectarian presentation. This is not only for the Catholics and they will bring us on a short trip around the world),” Quibete said.

He said that around 350 participants will perform dances inspired by other countries such as Japan, Thailand, India, Saudi Arabia, Brazil, and Samoa. They will also have Philippine dances.

The show will start at 6 pm at San Pedro Square. CIO
