The Sangguniang Panlungsod will prioritize the renovation of the ground floor areas of its building this year, an official said.
Davao City Vice Mayor J. Melchor Quitain, during the Aprubado sa Konseho media forum on January 7, 2024, bared that the renovation of the ground floor – primarily the taxpayers lounge and the comfort rooms of the SP building is in the pipeline this year.
The renovation of the taxpayer’s lounge covers the City Assessor’s, Business Bureau, and Local Civil Registrar.
“We will renovate that, change everything: improve the air-conditioning, the flooring, the walls to make it all comfortable for all Dabawenyos transacting within the offices,” the vice mayor said.
The budget for the said renovation has already been approved during the previous year.
They intend to start the rehabilitation after the renewal of the business permits. CIO
