The Davao City Health Office (CHO), through its Population Division, continues to offer free No-Scalpel Vasectomy (NSV) every last Friday of the month.
For this month, the free NSV is scheduled on March 28 at the Buhangin Vasectomy Center.
NSV is a non-intrusive permanent family planning method with a process that only lasts 10-15 minutes. It also only requires minimal aftercare.
This family planning method also poses lesser risks compared to Bilateral-Tubal Ligation (BTL), and has a 99.85 percent effectivity rate.
Dabawenyos who no longer wish to have more children are urged to avail of the CHO’s free NSV service.
