The City Government of Davao created the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Metropolitan Davao’s Comprehensive and Sustainable Urban and Development Master Plan, through Executive Order (EO) No. 29 Series of 2024 which was issued on August 19.

The TWG was created to promote coordination and cooperation for the project’s administrative and technical components.

The chairperson of the Technical Working Group is the City Planning and Development Coordinator. Its members include heads of the offices such as the City Mayor’s Office, City Transport and Traffic Management Office (CTTMO), City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO), City Engineer’s Office (CEO), Office of the City Building Official (OCBO), Davao Public Transport Modernization Project Team (Davao Bus Project), City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO), Davao City Investment Promotion Center (DCIPC), City Tourism Operations Office (СТOО), and City Agriculturist’s Office (CAGO).

The project’s technical issues must be handled by the office heads or their representatives.

The City Planning and Development Office must also serve as the secretariat and will be in charge of documenting the ongoing report consolidation and other necessary secretarial tasks.
