The City Health Office (CHO), through the Davao City Chest Center, announced the resumption of its affordable X-ray service at the Davao City Chest Center located on Villa Abrille St. Barangay 30-C in front of Regency Inn.
The X-ray services at the Davao Chest Center officially resumed on July 8, 2024 (Monday). It is open from 8 am-5 pm (Monday to Friday except holidays).
In an interview with Davao Chest Center in charge Dr. Nikita Reyes said that they temporarily suspended the X-ray services starting August 30, 2023, after a technical malfunction of the computer connected to the X-ray machine. However, as of the latest, the problem was already fixed.
Reyes said that the fee is as low as Php 120 per view, which is lower than the rates of other private diagnostic clinics.

Reyes also said that the City Treasurer’s Office had already placed a payment center in the area for clients who seek to avail of its service.
She also advised clients to wear facemasks while inside the Davao Chest Center as it also caters to tuberculosis patients under the Tuberculosis Directly observed treatment, short-course (TB DOTS).
