The City Tourism on Operations Office (CTOO) has officially opened invitations for this year’s Duaw Davao Pride Parade, calling on members of the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies to march in solidarity and celebration.

“Whether you’re a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community or a supportive ally — this is your moment to march with love, courage, and unity,” Duaw Davao said in its post.

Set for June 22 at 3 p.m., the Pride Parade welcomes all registered and unregistered LGBTQIA+ groups, communities, associations, and supporters to participate.

To ensure smooth participation, registered groups must submit the official parade entry form to the CTOO or via online registration at tinyurl.com/DuawPrideParadeRegistration no later than June 13 at 11:59 p.m.

According to the event guidelines, contingents must specify their type of participation (e.g. walking group, band, etc.) and assign a group coordinator. Each contingent should consist of 30 to 150 participants and carry a Pride Parade banner or streamer (4.5m x 1.5m) with their group name visible.

Participants will assemble on Roxas Avenue at 1 p.m. Latecomers will be repositioned toward the end of the parade.

A final coordination meeting for parade coordinators is scheduled for June 14, to ensure a well-organized parade. Exciting prizes await contingents after the parade.
