The Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) has reported a peaceful electoral process in Davao City, with no major security incident recorded during the voting period.

PSSO Head Angel Sumagaysay told reporters on Monday that security forces were strategically deployed across polling centers to ensure that voters could cast their votes without disruptions.

“Very peaceful ang dagan sa atoang [election sa] syudad og wala man tay na record nga [issue] related sa security. Henceforth, hapsay ang tanan (The conduct of our election was very peaceful, and we have no record of any issue related to security. Henceforth, everything ran smoothly),” he said.

He said that local authorities and the cooperation of Dabawenyos attributed to the peaceful conduct of elections.

Sumagaysay also expressed gratitude to all Dabawenyos for their cooperation and support toward the security cluster during Election Day.

He emphasized that even after the election period, their cluster will remain vigilant to ensure that Davao City continues to be a safe and secure environment for residents. CIO
