Six newly hired personnel of the Quality Management System (QMS) underwent a four-day training course on ISO 9001:2015 topics on February 18-21, 2025, at the QMS Office, Magsaysay Park, Davao City.

The training topics included ISO 9001:2015
Awareness, QMS Requirements and Documentation, and Root Cause Analysis.

The program aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards, particularly in the context of the City Government of Davao.

The training also covered essential concepts such as root cause analysis, ensuring that participants develop the necessary skills to assess and improve quality management processes effectively.

Acting Quality Management System Leader Eugene C. Bernolo, in a message during the event, encouraged participants to fully engage in the training, emphasizing its significance as their foundation for becoming Internal Quality Auditors.

“Make the most out of this training, as it will equip you with the knowledge and skills needed in upholding quality standards,” he said.

Following the initial training, the participants will undergo further sessions to become full-pledged Internal Quality Auditors, reinforcing the city’s commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and continuous improvement. CIO
