The City Government of Davao, through the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), has initiated emergency relief operations to assist families affected by the recent flood in Barangay Bunawan.

Relief teams promptly responded to the affected families on Tuesday morning. The agency deployed its Mobile Kitchen to distribute hot meals, ensuring that flood victims had immediate access to prepared food during the challenging time.

In addition to food assistance, non-food items were also provided to support the flood-stricken community. Relief efforts included the distribution of modular tents or temporary shelter and the provision of Psychosocial First Aid (PFA) services to help stabilize the emotional well-being of affected residents.

An initial report from CSWDO stated that as of 6:33 p.m. on Tuesday, a total of 35 families (110 inidviduals) have taken refuge at the Barangay Bunawan Gym evacuation center. CIO
