The 21st Davao City Council held its first regular session on Tuesday.
Tuesday’s session was presided by 1st District Councilor Rodrigo “Rigo” Duterte II, who is also the city’s Acting Vice Mayor following the directive of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
During the session, 3rd District Councilor Bai Hundra Cassandra Dominique Advincula was elected as the Majority Floor Leader.
Second District Councilor Diosdado Angelo Mahipus Jr. was also elected as the Assistant Majority Floor Leader, while First District Councilor J. Melchor Quitain Jr. was elected as the Pro Tempore.
The elected committee leaders took their oath on the same day.
