The City Health Office (CHO) is urging parents to have their kids avail of the free vaccination services in time for the World Immunization Week Celebration 2025.

The free immunization drive will be held at the NCCC Mall (formerly Victoria Plaza) Activity Area from April 28 to 30 and May 2 to 3.

The CHO rolled out a comprehensive range of routine vaccinations tailored for different age groups. For infants and toddlers aged 6 weeks old to 59 months old, the program includes the administration of the Pentavalent Vaccine (DPT-HepB-HiB) PCV, C Polio (OPV), Inactivated Polio Vaccine (IPV), Pneumococcal Conjugate, and Mumps Measles Rubella (MMR).

The CHO is also offering the Measles Rubella Tetanus Diphtheria Vaccination to those aged 6 to 7 years old as well as those aged 12 to 13 years old.

Female children between the ages of 9 and 14 will be given the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine to help prevent conditions like cervical cancer in the future.

The CHO’s activities come as part of the global effort during World Immunization Week, aimed at raisng awareness about the critical role of vaccines in preventing disease outbreaks. CIO
