The City Government of Davao announced on Friday the names of scholars accepted under its scholarship program for the School Year (SY) 2025–2026.
Through the city’s official Facebook page, the Educational Benefit System Unit (EBSU) announced that a total of 424 scholars have been accepted—118 under Part A, 125 under Part B, and 181 under Part C.
EBSU Technical Assistant Emilio Domingo Jr. told Madayaw that the selected scholars were chosen from a total of 2,346 applicants.
He also added that Part A scholars are entitled to Php 50,000, Part B scholars to Php 40,000, and Part C scholars to Php 15,000 in scholarship benefits per semester.
He warmly congratulated those who were accepted as the city’s scholars.
The application period for the scholarship program began on April 21 and ended on May 7.
For the Academic Year 2025–2026, the city government has prioritized courses under Teacher Education, Information and Technology Education, Health Profession Education, and Social Sciences, as published on the City Government of Davao’s official page. CIO
