The City Government of Davao on Monday announced that the application period for the Educational Benefit System Unit (EBSU) scholarships is officially open.
Interested applicants can now register and submit their applications from April 21 to 30, 2025 using the eScholar App at https://ebsu-escholar.davaocity.gov.ph/.
New applicants are advised to create their account on the said platform to begin the registration process.
The scholarship program for the School Year 2025-2026 focuses on high-priority courses. Among these are the programs under Teacher Education; Information Technology including Computer Science, Information Technology, and Information System; Health Profession Education such as Nursing, Midwifery, and Pharmacy; Social Sciences such as Community Development, Social Work, and Psychology.

This year, the EBSU has 600 scholarship slots— a significant increase compared to the 300 slots made available in 2024. The expansion in available scholarships comes alongside an increased budget, underscoring the city’s commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of its residents. CIO
