City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) Head Jennifer Romero, in an interview with the Madayaw Program over city-owned Davao City Disaster Radio (DCDR) on Friday, said this year’s edition will begin earlier, with key events spread out across weekends throughout the month, particularly during the third week of June.

“Karon taas-taas ang atong scope sa Duaw Dabaw because we will open the Duaw Dabaw by June 5 (Our scope for Duaw Dabaw this year will be longer because we will open the Duaw Dabaw by June 5),” she said.

The Duaw Davao Pride Parade is set on June 22 while the Fiesta sa San Pedro will be on June 29.

The search for Reyna ng Dabaw has already started, with online applications open until May 20, and the screening process scheduled on May 23.
