The Davao City Veterinarian’s Office (CVO) is set to visit several barangays in the city for the month of July to offer veterinary services including free anti-rabies vaccination and castration of cats and dogs, and animal husbandry services.

This is part of CVO’s rabies control, and animal husbandry disease prevention and control programs that Dabawenyos may avail for free.

For the free anti-rabies vaccination services, the CVO will be in Calinan District on July 10–11 in Barangay Migkawayan, and in Barangay Kawayan on July 14–16.

They will also be in Barangay Catigan, Toril on July 17; Barangay Angliongto on July 18, 21, 22 and 24; Barangay Lacson on July 21–25; Barangay Atan-Awe, Toril on July 23; and in Barangay Sibulan, Toril on July 28.

Free castration services will be offered in Camella Cerritos on July 23; Barangay Sto. Nino, Tugbok on July 24; Barangay Panacan on July 25; Camella North Point on July 29; and Barangay Acacia on July 30.

The schedule is subject to change under certain circumstances.

Dabawenyos may also avail of the free anti-rabies vaccination and castration services at the CVO’s district offices from Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except on holidays. CIO
