Passengers will soon avail of a free WIFI connection inside the Davao City Overland Transport Terminal (DCOTT) as management eyes its implementation in July.

DCOTT Manager Aisa Usop, in an interview with the Madayaw Program over city-owned Davao City Disaster Radio, said that in addition to the improvements implemented at the terminal, free public WIFI will soon be available to passengers.

“We’re going to have public WIFI internet diha sa atoang DCOTT terminal. Hopefully next month makastart na ta it’s because ginapaningkamutan jud nato nga before Kadayawan nga naa na nang free wifi (DCOTT terminal will soon be equipped with free public WIFI. Hopefully, by next month we can start its roll out as we are working to achieve this before the Kadayawan Festival),” she said.

DCOTT is already in coordination with the Department of Information and Communication Technology Region XI (DICT-XI) for the installation of the free internet connection.

Usop also bared that another set of public comfort rooms was established at the Southbound bay which the public use for free.

For additional security, more CCTV cameras were also installed to cover the terminal’s blind spots.

Usop assured the public that the DCOTT management continuously improves its system and services for the comfort of its clients. CIO
