Davao City is gearing up for an exciting month as the City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) has announced the activities for this year’s Duaw Davao from June 5 to 29.
This year’s Duaw Davao promises a vibrant mix of cultural showcases, sporting competitions, and community celebrations. The festivities will kick off at the Rizal Park at 6 p.m. on June 5.
Simultaneously, the Definitely Davao Tsokolate ug Kape Crawl will commence and run until June 29.
For gaming enthusiasts, the Duaw Davao Esports Tournament will take place at the SM City Davao Annex at 8 p.m. on June 14.
Beauty and elegance will be on full display as the Reyna ng Davao pageant holds its preliminaries on June 16 at at the Ayala Malls Abreeza Activity Center, leading up to the much-awaited grand coronation night on June 20.
Sports lovers can also look forward to the Duaw Davao Invitational Volleyball League at the Davao City Recreation Center from June 19 to 21.
Music fans won’t be left out, as the Duaw Davao Music Fest promises an exciting evening at the Rizal Park on June 21.
Residents and tourists can explore Davao through Definitely Davao City Tour, taking place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 21-22 and June 28-29. The tour will offer a glimpse into the city’s historical landmarks.
The colorful Duaw Davao Parade will be at 3 p.m. of June 22, followed by the lively Duaw Davao: Night Fun and Colors at 7 p.m.
Art and culture will take center stage with the Duaw Davao Films and Arts Exhibit, Turismo and Food Bazaar at the Rizal Park from June 25-29.
The grand finale, Fiesta sa San Pedro: Paghiusayaw, will close the festivities at San Pedro Square on June 29.
