The City Government of Davao is inviting Dabawenyo graphic designers, artists, students, and creative individuals to join the DC Bus Design Making Contest.
The DC Bus Interim Bus Service or the DC Bus, under the Davao Public Transport Modernization Project or Davao Bus, is part of the city government’s initiative that aims to provide interim measure to the public transport challenges of the city.
The competition is free– no registration fee required –and participants may join individually or as a team.
To register, participants can access the registration form through https://tinyurl.com/DCBusDesignEntryForm.
Participants must submit a proof of identification showing Davao City as their residence. Failure to provide proof of residence will lead to disqualification.
Designs must align with Davao City’s Transportation Vision: “To be a model city in the Philippines that has a safe, efficient, reliable and sustainable transport system which enhances livability and improves connectivity.”
It must also be an original work and must not infringe on copyrights. The use of AI is strictly prohibited.
All entries must be submitted on or before 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2025, including a brief description of at least 100 words with a maximum 200 words explaining the concept behind the design.
Participants must submit their entries directly or through Google Drive link to davaobus@davaocity.gov.ph.
Winners of the DC Bus Design Making Contest are entitled to a cash prize of P30,000 for the 1st place; P20,000 for the second place; and P10,000 for the third place
