The City Government of Davao, through the Educational System Benefit Unit (EBSU), will open for 2025-2026 a total of 100 slots for financial assistance to indigent students with special needs.
EBSU Technical Assistant Emilio Domingo Jr. said this during the I-Speak Media Forum Thursday.
“Sa karon (As of the moment), we have existing 30 beneficiaries, with 100 slots available it will increase to 130),” he said.
Domingo said that eligible beneficiaries will each receive a financial assistance of Php 10,000 per school year.
The office will also open 100 slots for Technological Vocational students, who will receive Php 15,000 per program. Currently, there are a total of 59 students that enjoy this benefit.
Domingo said that the slots are part of the 600 slots for scholarships and financial assistance that EBSU will open for 2025-2026.
Domingo said that they will post on April 21 the registration link on the EBSU Facebook Page and the City Government of Davao Page. CIO
