The City Tourism Operations Office (CTOO) is in full swing preparing for Duaw Dabaw, a much-anticipated 10-day celebration tentatively set on June 20 to 29.

The summer festival, which was first held last year, will exhibit summer vibes in June which is ideal for vacationing.

Jennifer Romero, Officer-In-Charge of the CTOO, said Duaw Dabaw is anchored on the city’s four key tourism pillars: Duaw ta sa Dabaw Turismo, Duaw ta sa Music and Colors, Duaw ta sa Fiesta sa San Pedro, and Duaw ta sa Lifestyle and Leisures.

She said that Duaw Dabaw will feature various activities that cater to different aspects of tourism and local pride, including the Reyna ng Dabaw, Pride Month Activities, and Local Music Festival.

Romero said that the Pride Month activities will take center stage, celebrating inclusivity and diversity, while the Fiesta sa San Pedro will honor Davao’s oldest street. Lifestyle and Leisure activities will promote Davao’s unique lifestyle and leisure offerings tied closely to its tourism narrative.
