The City Government of Davao aims to finish the construction of the Multi-Purpose MICE Building in December this year.
The second phase of the construction started last year, based on information from the City Engineer’s Office.
The Multi-Purpose MICE Building, formerly known as Pasalubong Center, is located on Palma Gil St. Barangay 4-A, Poblaciรณn District.
CEO Head Engr. Joseph Dominic Felizarta recently told Madayaw that once finished, the building will have various amenities.
“Naa ta’y MICE building, kanang building duol sa People’s Park, kilid sa Davao City Investment and Promotion (DCIPC), atoa pud na. Naa’y amphitheater na didto sa taas, mga meetinganan, pasalubong display area (We have an MICE Building near People’s Park, beside DCIPC. It will have an amphitheater in one of its top floors, meeting areas, and pasalubong display areas),” Felizarta said.
He said the building will be five storeys tall, including the roof deck.
“It will be like a Pasalubong center pero mas dako na (It will be like the Pasalubong Center but much bigger),” he said. CIO
