Merry music fill the Davao City Hall grounds as singing groups and choirs serenade Dabawenyos with Christmas songs during the Panayegon sa City Hall.
The Panayegon sa City Hall kicked off on November 29 with groups jamming to OPM songs and other genres of music bringing smiles on the faces of the Dabawenyos who attended the event.
Panayegon sa City Hall is just one of the many activities that the city government prepared for this year’s Pasko Fiesta. The same event was held on November 30 and December 1.
Through the event, Dabawenyo musicians showcase their musical prowess while at the same time entertaining and bringing joy to Dabawenyos.
Manolito Resimilla, a resident of Tibungco, chose to spend a Friday night with his family at the City Hall grounds to watch the performances in the Panayegon.
“Siyempre happy kaayo ta karon ka’y nakalaag sa City Hall unya naa sila’y programa nga ingon ani (Of course we’re so happy that we got to visit the City Hall and witness their program),” he said.
Dabawenyos are urged to come visit the City Hall grounds for a night of music at 6 p.m. on December 4, and December 24 to 29.
