The Davao City Police Office noted zero untoward incident reported to police stations during the staging of the Parada Dabawenyo 2024 and the Hudyaka sa Dabaw on March 17, 2024.

“For the Parada Dabawenyo 2024, generally peaceful wala’y mga untoward incidents nga nareport sa atoang stations- Stations 1, Station 2, Station 3, especially sa Ma-a
wala ta’y natala nga reported incident related sa activity kagahapon (For the Parada Dabawenyo 2024, [it was] generally peaceful, there are no untoward incidents reported to our stations- Station 1, Station 1, Station 3, especially in Ma-a, we didn’t have any reported incident related to yesterday’s activity),” DCPO Spokesperson Police Captain Hazel Tuazon said during the Madayaw Dabaw morning program over Davao City Disaster Radio Monday.

She added that Hugyaw Dabawenyo was also very peaceful.

Tuazon thanked all Dabawenyos for cooperating to make the events orderly and peaceful.

PSSO Head Angel Sumagaysay, in a separate interview on Sunday, thanked the security and safety cluster deployed during the event as they contributed a lot in ensuring an orderly Parada Dabawenyo.

More or less 500 integrated security personnel were deployed within San Pedro Square.

The Parada was attended by a total of 353 contingents from various local and national government offices, 11 Ethnolinguistic tribes of Davao City, Consulate Offices, Persons with Disability Groups, barangays, Sangguniang Kabataan, Schools/Institutions, Companies, Civic Groups and Civic Organizations, Mutya ng Dabaw, Mountaineering Groups, Fraternities, Brotherhoods and Sorrorities, Electric Bike Groups, Bicycle Groups, Motorcycle Riders Clubs and groups, Vehicle Clubs, Contingents with Floats, Safety and Security Units, Firefighters, Media, and Audio/Speaker Groups.
