The Ata tribe broke the six-year winning streak of the Bagobo-Klata by winning five out of 13 IP games for 2024. The games in which they won were Sisibow (Girls)- a game similar to siatong, Bibinayo- rice pounding, Siklot-a game similar to jackstone game, Bubuntug (bamboo spear), and Aakrow/Karang (wooden stilts),

The second place in IP games was the Matigsalug, which ranked second place in Pana (arrow shooting), Sisibow Boys, Kakasing (wooden spinning tops), Totaringki (fire making), and Solopot (blowgun).

The Bagobo-Klata came in third having won first place in Solopot and Usuroy (Tug of War).

For the Moro games, the Kagan dominated the six Moro tribes in the Moro games. They are also champions during the Moro Games in 2023. They won first place in Kambabai (the Moro version of Maria Went to Town), Sipa sa Mangis (a ball-kicking game to hit suspended boxes), Tug of War, and Kagkingking (one-legged race).

The second place among the Moro tribes was the Iranun after winning Sipa sa Lama (a game similar to takyan but with more grace and ceremony) and Kakokor a (time race to extract coconut milk). In third place was the Taosug, which placed second in the games Sipa sa Mangis, Tug of War, and Kagkingking.

Special games of Tug of War between IP and Moro were also held, where the Kagan emerged as the winner.

Marvin Domingo, tribal Chieftain of the Bagobo-Klata and Game Emcee, told Madayaw Davao that the Dula Kadayawan highlighted the continuing unity of the 11 tribes

“Magpadayon ta, atong ipakita ang atoang kasadya ang atong kaihusahan nga kita Dabawenyo dili lang Moro dili lang IP, kundili usa ka katawhan sa siyudad sa Davao nga nagkahiusa sa kasaulugan sa Kadayawan (We continue to show our merriment and our unity as we are Dabawenyo, not just as Moro or as IP, but a whole community in the city of Davao, united in the celebration of Kadayawan),” he said.

The 2024 Dula Kadayawan was also witnessed by guests who were interested in the culture and tradition of the 11 tribes. CIO
